3 effective trampoline exercises for weight loss.

The fitness trampoline is your ideal training partner for weight loss. You can train whenever and wherever you want. Maybe you do not feel comfortable at the gym or there is no gym near you – with the bellicon you can easily bounce those extra pounds away at home.
Things to keep in mind during training:
  • Increase the intensity of your workout slowly and step by step.
  • Try to train at least three times per week – ideally, schedule your training sessions in your calendar.
  • A short workout in the morning boosts your metabolism.
  • Drink enough water before and after your workout.
  • Finish each workout with a short cool-down so your circulation can recover.

Exercise 1: The Basic Bounce

The Basic Bounce is the fundamental movement and is ideal for getting started, as part of a warm-up, or for a short recovery between more intense exercises. Maintaining proper posture is important. Are you a beginner? Then start with this exercise. Here’s how it works:
  • Stand on the bellicon with your feet hip-width apart. Your knees are parallel and slightly bent.
  • Align your pelvis and activate your core muscles and pelvic floor by gently pulling your navel toward your spine.
  • Your upper body is upright, with your neck and head aligned with your spine, and your arms hanging relaxed by your sides.
  • Now press down through your heels to initiate the bouncing motion.
  • At first, keep your feet on the mat. Once you feel secure, you can lift them.

Exercise 2: Jumping Jacks

Do you feel ready for more? Then try Jumping Jacks—also known as star jumps. This full-body exercise on the trampoline is perfect for boosting your metabolism and helping the pounds drop.
  • Perform the basic bounce.
  • Now open your feet to about hip-width while simultaneously swinging your arms up over your head until your hands meet.
  • Now, as you continue bouncing, bring your legs back together and lower your arms.
  • Repeat this sequence.

Exercise 3: Jogging

Not a fan of jogging? No problem. Jogging on the bellicon is a lot of fun and nothing like running on asphalt.
  • Starting from the basic position, alternately lift your knees up toward your upper body.
  • Your arms swing naturally alongside your body. Lean slightly forward as you move.
  • Variation: Tap the opposite knee with one hand when it is raised.
  • Increase the intensity by picking up the pace.
Tip to overcome your inner resistance:
Find a permanent place for the bellicon in your home. This will remind you to bounce regularly.

  • Drink lots of water
    Water has no calories and no sugar, so it’s good for preventing cravings. Our bodies also need a lot of water so that its processes can function properly. About 2 liters a day is the recommended daily amount.
  • Fruit and vegetables
    Fruit and vegetables have vitamins, minerals and fibers that help take care of your body. That’s why the recommended amount is five portions per day.
