For many people, running is the ideal way to relax and be active. It's a great activity to get fresh air while you enjoy the surroundings or your regular route through the park. Sometimes, naturally, the weather is not favorable. On stormy days or during cold temperatures, running is not the most effective exercise method. The bellicon® mini trampoline offers all the benefits of running... and more.
Rebounding is a great alternative for outdoor training. Because of the low-impact suspension it is not only fun, but also safe. And don't forget that with this alternative form of training you also stimulate not only similar muscle groups to typical running workouts, but the bellicon will engage additional muscles. With the bellicon® mini trampoline you slowly but surely prepare yourself for your future running workouts when the weather permits. This way you create a more efficient style that saves you time because you can do it in the comfort of your home. No more missing a run!
Jumping is twice as effective
A new study, published in the International Journal of Sports Science, has concluded that rebounding exercise is twice as effective at improving aerobic fitness and 50% more efficient at burning fat than running. It also showed that exercising on a mini-trampoline increased vertical jumping ability.

'I'm running smoothly again'
I love my bellicon, and after using it, I notice that I am more agile and my endurance has increased. Running has become easier for me. I used to do yoga to prepare for runs, but I sometimes felt stiff. Rebounding has totally loosened me up and I'm running more efficiently than ever!
A high step frequency is crucial when running or jogging. Did you know that you can train that frequency efficiently on a mini trampoline? You can do identical movements on the bellicon that you do when running or jogging. You can vary your speed and do exercises of varying intensity.
Thanks to its highly elastic bungees, the bellicon® is particularly gentle on the back and joints. And you don't have to jog or run; you can also walk at your own pace. Walking training on the mini trampoline lubricates the joint cartilage of the knee and hip. Due to the resistance when you land on the mat, synovial fluid is supplied to the joint cartilage; strengthening and lubricating each joint.
The International Journal of Sports Science published a study showeing that jumping on a trampoline increases the ability to jump; the ideal complement to running. It also showed that training on a mini trampoline is twice as effective in improving the aerobic condition and 50 percent more efficient in burning fat than jogging.

Using the bellicon also improves your balance and coordination, which is especially important for fall prevention. This heightens your ability to quickly adjust your balance should you fall or slip in wet or otherwise unstable conditions. The bellicon guarantees a targeted training of balance and coordination.
