Blood circulation is stimulated by the heart. The lymphatic system, on the other hand, is only set in motion by muscular function. In a sitting or lying resting position, the lymph hardly moves.
The bellicon® offers you a simple form of training that optimally stimulates the lymphatic flow. When bouncing or walking on the bellicon® mini trampoline, all muscles of the body are activated, which means that the lymphatic fluid can be transported quickly.

In our everyday life, we often do insufficient exercise and we spend a lot of time sitting. The muscles hardly work in this stationary position, which means that the lymphatic system is also inactive. Inactivity can also promote thrombosis.
Figuratively speaking: a stagnant body of water quickly turns into a pond, and it becomes dirty. When the water flows again, cleaning takes place automatically. It is the same with the self-cleaning ability of our body – if everything is kept flowing, everything runs smoothly and without major complications.
Insufficient muscular function can result in water retention or lymph congestion. If the lymphatic fluid gets into the intercellular space (interstitium), this leads to the development of lymphoedema and the affected body area swells. The lymph also contains our white blood cells, which are important for an intact immune system so that we do not get sick so often.
Without the lymph, waste would build up in our cells. The lymphatic system ensures that waste materials are removed from our cells. A regular alternation of tensing and relaxing the muscles can activate the lymphatic flow, thus preventing or dissolving lymph congestion. The active transport of the lymphatic fluid accelerates the filtering processes of bacteria, viruses and metabolic products. Just a few minutes of bouncing on the bellicon® trampoline activate these processes, keep the blood circulation going and thromboses can be prevented. Then our bellicon training is just right for you! For optimal successful training, you should pay attention to choosing ideal exercises and slowly increase the intensity of the exercises. Depending on the cause of the lymphoedema, it is advisable to speak to a doctor or therapist first so that you can benefit optimally from exercising on the bellicon®. We recommend the bellicon® Classic with a diameter of 112 cm and screw-in-legs. You can choose between different colours and bungee strengths and put together your individual bellicon® by using our configurator.
Soft covering for an increased lymphatic flow?
Make sure to choose the softest possible bungee strength, based on your body weight. This is gentler on the joints and stimulates the lymphatic flow more than a bungee strength that is too hard. The bungee strength can be changed later at any time by purchasing new bungees
