I had a hard time deciding on which Bellicon size and bungee strength to choose. As far as the bungee strength, it’s not just determined by your weight, but also by the type of exercising you plan to do on it. So, I asked for advice but then just guessed at what would be best for me. It seems fine – I chose Strong – even though I don’t quite meet the suggested weight… however I also wanted to do aerobic style exercises on it so I went with that.
I really do love the Bellicon rebounder. It is large – I chose the 49 inch and am glad I did – but not cumbersome. It’s bounce is the best – I’ve owed a real cheap brand, an Urban Rebounder and a ReboundAir – this is so much better than any of those. The others really did feel like jumping on a cheap old creaky hard mattress in comparison.
I love it but would have loved it even more if the price was lower and the terms and conditions when buying weren’t so scary and strict… it’s a very big (expensive) purchasing decision so it’s not a warm and fuzzy feeling to know that if anything weren’t right we’d probably have to pay return shipping, etc. Also, definitely would have been so helpful to have more options for trying out the different sizes and bungee strengths ahead of time… but the closest places listed to do so were 3 and 3.5 hours away, so we never got to do that.
Winging it was not easy but we seem to have made all the right choices and we love our new Bellicon Rebounder!
I have a spring Bellicon and a Cellercizer, but I didn't know what I was missing until I tried the bungee Bellicon.
My first impression after my first few bounces was that it is really quiet. Then I put my other rebounders right next to it and jumped back-and-forth.
There is no comparison! The bungee Bellicon is far superior! It is so quiet I don't have to worry about waking my husband up as I bounce away into the night.
I was considering the larger one because I wanted to have lots of room. I am 5'5" and the 44 inch is just the right size. I have the extra strong bungees and even though I am below the weight limit for them (I don't think I've ever said that before) they are perfect.
I was going to keep one of my spring rebounders as a backup, but I don't think I ever want to use them again.
I have had my Bellicon for six months. I am recovering from more than a decade long battle with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. (Not to the mention the fact that I am almost 60 years old). It has taken me a while to build up my stamina. Now I can almost keep up with the beginning workouts that were sent to me by e-mail to get me started.
Not only am I getting to my ideal weight but I am feeling strong and looking quite fit. I love it that I can work out just a few feet from the bed and my husband doesn't hear a things...except at first, the heavy "panting" was an issue!
My doctor was all for me getting some exercise, even though he thought at first the "impact" would be bad for me, so I had to "educate" him on that issue. (Thanks to the information available on your site). We were even able to pay for it through our HSA.
I am looking forward to having my doctor re-check my bone density (probably after using the rebounder for a year) since my doctor was adament that excercise would slow down the loss of bone, but "nothing can be done about replacing it". I tell everyone that asks how I got to be so fit at my age with all the health challenges I have faced. It's the "real deal"!
Dear Bellicon, I just received my Bellicon 49-inch trampoline and I love it! I had previously purchased two other mini-trampolines (a Needak and a generic brand) which I bought for the health benefits of rebounding, especially improving my immune system. However, I could never use these rebounders for very long because the metal springs supporting the mat were jarring and hurt on my ankles and feet when I jumped up and down on the mat. I had quite badly sprained my ankles several times in the past and am always careful to prevent re-spraining them again. Also I always wear orthotics to redistribute my weight from putting undue pressure on my big toe joints which have some degeneration from previous gout. I always had to wear tennis shoes when jumping on the previous rebounders to protect my ankles and toe joints from the jolts. But with the Bellicon it is ENTIRELY different and SUCH a wonderful, soft and springy bounce! Because of the bungee cords, there is no jarring AT ALL and much less stress on my ankles and feet at the bottom of the bounce when my feet touch the mat before bouncing in the air again. Unlike the other rebounders I can jump BAREFOOT on my Bellicon with no pain or discomfort at all. It is such fun! And I feel my feet and ankles will strengthen over time which will be a huge benefit. Thank you for making such a wonderful product. I would definitely recommend it.
I reviewed rebounders for several months before choosing the Bellicon. I ordered to 49" with screw on legs. I can't say enough great things about it! I have had it a few weeks and can already tell a huge difference in the toning of my legs and arms. I am also a lot more limber! Bouncing in the Bellicon puts me in a happier mood which that in itself is amazing! I love the way it takes all the weight off of my joints. My only regret is not ordering it sooner. I am so glad I made a decision to improve my health.
