Smooth movements on the bellicon® are the key to heal trauma
Dr. Peter A. Levine, PhD in medical biophysics and trauma expert
“The key in healing trauma is not to relive the trauma experienced, but to create new experiences in the body that contradict those feelings of overwhelming helplessness that happened in trauma. So it’s having new experiences really is what it's about. And that's where I became interested in the work with the bellicon® because it's a way to, very gently and in a playful way, begin to bring people back a little bit more and more to their bodies. So I use it as part of a treatment to reconnect people with themselves - in a physical way.“
Turbocharger for the the lymphatic system
Dr. Donald Liebell, chiropractor and anti aging expert
“The gentle up-and-down motion of rebounding exercises causes the valves in your lymphatic vessels to open and close to stimulate the lymphatic system. All you have to do to turbocharge the lymphatic pump is bouncing up and down gently without even leaving your feet from the jumping mat. In rebounding jargon we call this the «Health Bounce». It doesn’t get any easier than this, there is no skill required you don’t need to jump you can even be unfit, elderly, ill or handicapped and you can still perform the «Health Bounce» with ease and comfort. So go ahead and pump up your lymphatic system today by rebounding.”

World Champion Boxer Trained on bellicon®
Darren Barker: World Champion Boxer
Darren Barker is a British boxer who, on August 17th, 2013, became the International Boxing Federation world middleweight champion. His first opportunity to gain the title had come two years earlier, but he lost the fight to Sergio Martinez in the 11th round. Injuries, including a persistent problem with his hip, threatened to end his career, but rather than retire, he decided to change his training methods. He began working with Wayne Leal, whose methods, as far as professional boxers are concerned, are very unorthodox, including meditation, yoga...and bellicon rebounding!
