“Since 1987 I have been working with the rebounder in my practice at the CHI-ZENTRUM, Dietikon (CH), and for a number of years now with the highly elastic bellicon® trampoline in individual therapy, in courses and in the DYNAMIC REBOUNDING training.

It is again and again both astonishing and touching to me how quickly my patients and course participants can feel their flow of energy during and after bouncing on the bellicon®, and how positively and illuminatingly it affects their psyche.

Out of my wealth of experience, I developed the DYNAMIC REBOUNDING method together with Ingrid Luginbühl J. The method is described in our practical handbook “DYNAMIC REBOUNDING – the buoyant training for more energy and joie de vivre”. With CHI-ZEN-DO I created a modern form of energy work. CHI-ZEN-DO has its roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Qi Gong and in the ancient Asian martial arts.

The free flow of life energy for more joie de vivre, harmony and health

The pulling and pushing impulses generated when swinging up and down on the bellicon® trampoline act similarly to an acupressure massage, rhythmically massaging and supplying energy to the energy pathways, the acupuncture points and the internal organs. The bouncing acts like a comprehensive, vitalizing “energy shower”. It is a simple and effective aid for releasing energy blockages in the muscles, joints, spine and organs.

The CHI-ZEN-DO exercises on the bellicon® lead to better muscle tone, and increase the strength, endurance, flexibility, speed and reflexes of individual muscle groups. Through the rhythmic swinging impulses, combined with simple movements and breathing techniques tailored to the individual, physical, mental and emotional energies are harmonized and brought into balance. This is an effective aid for reducing high levels of inner tension and stress and for transforming emotional imbalances such as anger, fear and depressive moods.

With the help of kinesiological muscle tests, my patients and course participants can repeatedly experience, in an astonishing way, just how much strength they have after bouncing, when energy flows freely through the body. This encourages the motivation to take the time every day to get moving on the bellicon®, in order to harmonize physical, mental and emotional energies. Very much in the spirit of Traditional Chinese Medicine: “flowing water does not spoil.”
